The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Italian fine dining, a strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our guests. This position requires weekend availability, as our busiest times fall during these hours. The work schedule for this position is from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Responsibilities: Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing a memorable dining experience from start to finish. Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Take accurate food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system promptly and ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages efficiently and gracefully, adhering to Nino's presentation and service standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly and courteously. Collaborate with the kitchen and bartending staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and seamless service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, refilling water glasses, and ensuring overall ambiance. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions with integrity. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience as a server in a fine dining Italian restaurant. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and regional specialties. Familiarity with Italian wines and ability to make informed recommendations to guests. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a flawless dining experience.
