Oncology - Radiation Physician

Opportunity:

Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time radiation oncology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements

• Normal radiation oncology operations including clinic duties and inpatient consultations

• Participate in tumor board and chart rounds

• Treatment volumes average 14 patients daily with approximately 8 consults per week and 20 follow-ups

• Adult patient population in both clinic and hospital settings

• Perform special procedures including lung SBRT

• Work with comprehensive support staff including oncology certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, and 4 radiation therapists with over 25 years of experience

• Use EPIC electronic medical record system

• Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology required

• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ and DEA registration required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

This community hospital features 100 beds and operates an off-site comprehensive cancer center that includes hematology/oncology services, infusion services, and palliative medicine all located at the same facility. The radiation oncology department is well-equipped with experienced staff and modern technology to provide comprehensive cancer care to the community.
