Project Engineer

Project EngineerA Project Engineer, commonly known as Construction Project Manager, is responsible for schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for all assigned projects and other technical activities relating to the building project. They will oversee performance management of all facility projects. The Project Engineer must be available to help United Service teams on tasks and other items that may come their way that pertain to facilities operation.What We Need From YouMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Must be familiar around the computer. Outlook, Excel, PowerPointPlumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Building Envelope knowledge is preferredMinimum 4 years' experience as a Project Manager or SuperintendentMust have good communications skills for internal/external clientsProblem solving skills are essential to making sound decisions to keep projects on schedule and in budgetReport and escalate to leadership as neededCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationBe a self-starter with strong independent work ethicAbility to work well with large diverse teamsAbility to work under pressureTranslate requirements into tasksWhat You Will Be DoingManage building construction projects, progress, and scheduleReview design and bidding documents from architect, mechanical, and electrical engineersEvaluate contractor bidsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesAddress any issues that arise during constructionSupervise all assigned construction projectsEvaluate project performance, producing weekly updates for stakeholdersMaintain project databaseThe Place & The PerksReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
