Quality Engineer

Job Overview The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing and driving the core functions of the plant’s quality and continuous improvement systems. Responsibilities Manage, implement, and train quality equipment programming and troubleshooting (CMM, AVID, Infinity). Develop and oversee validation and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ/CQV) for software, injection, printing, and finishing processes. Lead continuous improvement activities including quality improvements, scrap reduction, efficiency enhancement, risk review, and other cost savings. Program and support using 3D printer. Perform customer specification reviews and approvals, create stock specifications, and assist with quality agreements. Manage GMP, ISO, and SQF quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 15378, ISO 13485, SQF, FDA). Support other quality systems such as change control, deviations, and CAPA. Back up Quality Supervisor/Manager as needed. Qualifications Preferred: Certified black belt in process improvement. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans.
