THE ROLE The Engineer is responsible for the repair of all HVAC, refrigeration, water features, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, FLSD, electrical and mechanical equipment/systems. Respond and monitor all guest rooms and public spaces, equipment, and PM programs to ensure the reliability, safety, and comfort of all staff and guests. WHAT YOU'LL DO Conduct room Preventative Maintenance on all hotel rooms, building and equipment. Assist guests as needed. Assist with security and safety checks for the property through visual checks. Building walk-thru Ability to use service ticket app, ALICE. Follow supervisor's instructions and complete other duties as directed or assigned. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Minimum 1 year experience in customer service. High school graduate preferred. 2 years previous maintenance experience. Will be required to work day and/or evening shifts, overnight, both weekdays and weekends. Fire & Life Safety Director required. HVAC, boiler, sprinkler maintenance certification preferred. LUMA Hotel Times Square is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
