Physician Assistant Psychiatry – WINGSPAN PSYCHIATRIC LLC, Mount Vernon, NY Job Description Responsibilities: Treat acute and chronic medical conditions with an emphasis on psychopharmacology. Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments. Perform psychiatric medical examinations (mental status exam). Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities. Communicate with collaborating physicians and allied health professions regarding patient care. Accurate documentation. Using computer applications (eClinicalWorks). Coding and filling out insurance forms. Scheduling follow-up appointments. Qualifications: NPI NYS license. Two letters of reference. Compensation/Salary: Required 2 weeks of training at $65.00 per hour, non‑negotiable (after training salary can be negotiated). Travel compensation can be negotiated.
