Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Document Writer with a background in nuclear or defense technical documentation, document management, and export-controlled documentation. The candidate will create, review, edit, convert, and maintain technical and procedural documents in accordance with established processes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Create, review, edit, and maintain technical and procedural documents.

Collaborate with document owners and technical teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely deliverables.

Manage document conversions, revisions, approvals, issuance, and distribution.

Maintain document indexes, source files, access controls, revision history, and obsolete document records.

Create and maintain technical lists, acronyms, and requirements documentation.

Support document management tools, workflows, user access, and automation.

Prepare weekly reports on document volume, delivery timelines, backlog, throughput, and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

6–8 years of relevant technical writing and document management experience.

Mandatory nuclear or defense industry technical documentation experience.

Experience with export-controlled technical documents and document conversion.

Knowledge of document lifecycle management, revision control, reviews, and approvals.

Strong written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
