Travel Surgical Tech

Role Surgical Tech Location Portland, ME Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile environments, and assist with surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies. Handle specimens and ensure equipment functionality. Decontaminate and sterilize instruments. Support patient transfer and care. Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year recent experience as a Surgical Tech. Valid state license/certification. Current BLS certification. Critical thinking, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills. Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs. Proficiency in technical and motor skills.
