Tea Server - PT

The Tea Server will be responsible for guiding our guests through an immersive tea experience, anticipating their needs and delivering the highest personalized service and attention. 

Responsibilities

• Provide an immersive tea experience by guiding guests through tea offerings, menu selections, and the Southall seed-to-table philosophy
• Communicate guest orders, special requests, and dietary needs to the kitchen and bar using the hotel’s point-of-sale system; coordinate food and beverage timing to provide a seamless tea service
• Review completed orders against the guest’s original request and deliver food and beverages to the guest table or lounge chair in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
• Read each table and adapt to the guest, creating a customized experience for a variety of local guests, international travelers, and building residents alike
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and chairs
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership

• Restaurant hospitality experience 
• Weekend availability is a must
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
