Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to start with a pending state license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience in an outpatient therapy environment preferred.
• Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patient populations preferred; familiarity with pelvic health, lymphedema, vestibular, LSVT, or chronic pain programs is preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital outpatient therapy clinic.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Day 4x10-hour (08:00 - 18:00). Therapists can choose five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.
• Schedule expectations: 60-minute evaluations scheduled; most treatment sessions 30 minutes with some 45–60 minute sessions. Charts review time built into the day (for 10-hour days: three 30-minute chart review periods; for 8-hour days: two 30-minute chart review periods).
• Patient mix: Approximately 70% orthopedic, 30% neurological.
• On-call: Not required.
• Floating: Clinician will not be required to float to other facilities.
