Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position focuses on working with kindergarten and first grade students in a moderate/severe (Mod/Severe) or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) program. You’ll have the chance to make a genuine impact from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, providing vital support to young learners and collaborating closely with a dedicated team of educators.
Qualifications & Qualifications Sought:
- Valid California Mod/Severe or ESN Special Education Credential, or active pursuit of credential
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students with significant support needs
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, individualized instruction plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a classroom setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities in K-1st grade
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with families and school support teams
- Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapt curriculum and learning materials to meet students’ diverse needs
- Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Communicate regularly with families, therapists, and other staff members
