Whether you’re seeking a full-time or part-time position, this contract-to-hire role is an excellent fit for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Work with a diverse K-12 population and provide a meaningful impact on learning and development throughout the academic year.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and active ASHA CCC certification
- Previous experience with K-12 students in a school setting (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a variety of student needs and ages
- Skilled in documentation and compliance with IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs and measure progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, write therapy reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support and training to school staff as needed regarding language and communication development
- Adjust intervention techniques to meet both individual and group needs
