Physician - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, commencing Aug 17, 2026. This role requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, days and nights, where the physician will manage a patient load of 2-3 per hour, working alongside a dedicated scribe and ER advanced practice providers. Responsibilities and Duties Work with a designated scribe and ER APPs during 12-hour shifts. See 2-3 patients per hour. Manage ER admissions, stabilizing and consulting with specialists on staff. Treat minor injuries, illnesses, and minor trauma (major trauma cases are transferred). Address stroke patients, with Neuro on-call support. Utilize ultrasound for diagnostic purposes in the ER (the physician is not responsible for official reads). Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
