Landscape Architecture Project Designer

As a Project Designer at our firm, you will work under the guidance of a supervising Project Manager, Associate, and/or Principal in charge. You will be involved in various aspects of project development, from generating client presentations to preparing comprehensive construction document packages. Key Responsibilities Project Support: Assist the project team with drafting, redlines, and preparation of drawings and documents throughout various project phases. Technical Drafting: Develop proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software to support the preparation of plans, details, and project documentation. Document Preparation: Support the preparation and organization of construction document packages under the direction of the Job Captain or Project Manager. Consultant Coordination Support: Assist with organizing and incorporating consultant information into project drawings and files. Graphic and Presentation Support: Help prepare basic diagrams, exhibits, and presentation materials for internal reviews and client meetings. Quality and Organization: Maintain organized project files and follow established drafting standards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Professional Development: Continue developing technical, graphic, and professional skills while gaining exposure to the firm’s project processes and documentation standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, graphic design, architecture, or a related field. Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office. 1-3 years of experience in producing conceptual/schematic design presentations and documentation sets. Strong verbal and visual communication skills. High capacity to learn new tools and emerging technologies.Ability to be creative and technical with a strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Applicant needs to have initiative and be self-directed. Compensation The expected hiring range for this position is $64,000 - $69,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and role alignment.
