Private Duty Nurse – Pediatrics

Schedule: Monday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Wednesday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Requirements:

Current license to practice nursing (LPN/LVN or RN) in the state.
A minimum of one year experience in nursing is preferred, but not required.
Current CPR Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Proof of auto insurance.
Completion of Employee Health Questionnaire/Physical within 30 days of employment.
Dependent adult abuse certification.
Child abuse certification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for pediatric patients in a home setting.
Implement nursing care services under the direction and supervision of the RN Case Manager.
Maintain communication with families and clients while ensuring a warm and positive environment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
Comply with safety precautions and infection control procedures at all times.
Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to the RN Case Manager.
