Hotel Bartender

About this position Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service so our patrons have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed Qualifications Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Previous experience working in food service is preferred Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) About Company Nestled in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort is a year-round haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
