Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in the Cath Lab to join our dynamic team. This position involves working alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons to deliver comprehensive cardiac and peripheral services.

Position Overview

The Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing various cardiac and peripheral procedures. The role includes both direct patient care and responsibilities in the pre and post-operative areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab, utilizing advanced medical devices including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Conduct LEXISCAN Stress Tests and interpret results.
• Assist in a range of procedures, including Left and Right Heart Catheterizations, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, and Carotid diagnostic and therapeutic stenting.
• Perform Pacemaker Insertions, Tilt Table Tests, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures and during recovery.
• Contribute to patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
• Participate in patient transport and support duties as needed.

Schedule

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
• On call 7 days a month, scheduled non-consecutively.
• Weekend on-call duties required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience is required.
• Recent travel nursing experience is preferred.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
• Current licensure in Oklahoma or a compact state is required.
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
