Provides for the children's social intellectual, physical and emotional development. Is responsible for implementing and assisting with the classroom operation including, planning, curriculum and child assessment implementation, and supervision of children. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:Associate's or advanced degree in early childhood education or child development preferred. Must have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education coursework units. Must have or be eligible for a Child Development Permit.Six months direct experience working with young children in pre-school setting preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a valid California driver's license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance. Must meet State health requirements including passing a physical examination as a condition of employment and must provide verification of a TB clearance at the time of employment.
