Job Summary: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse Billings, MT
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. This role assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including ongoing collection and assessment of health data, patient education, and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing; certification as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Performs health teaching and health counseling.
  • Provides therapy and treatment supportive of life and well-being, either directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
  • Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
  • Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
  • Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
  • May float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
  • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
