About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start), ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting - Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center - Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback - Flexibility to work in various areas of the emergency department Description: This opportunity is with a reputable emergency department known for its commitment to patient care. The department has 101 beds with typical patient ratios of 4:1, increasing to 7:1 for behavioral health holds. There are available techs working in the unit, involved in cardiac monitoring and internal processing. Documentation is handled through an electronic system. Scheduling is needed every other weekend, with no block scheduling commitments allowed. Floating to all sections within the emergency department is required. Required certifications are to be obtained before the start date, ensuring readiness for trauma and emergency care.
