SUMMARY The Count Team member is primarily responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Table Games, Slot Machines, and Poker for reporting purposes. The Count Team provides documentation of counts fulfilling all Gaming and Company regulatory requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Remove and replace BV Cassettes and Table Drop Boxes on a daily basis. Unlock and open slot machine doors and bill validator doors to access cans to be collected. Properly close, lock, and shut all machines dropped that day. Operate electrically powered tow cart used to transport full validator cash can carts to and from the Count Room. Manually push full transport carts to and from the Count Room as required. Unlock and remove all currency/chips from each dropped canister and assign designated asset number for processing. Perform daily cleaning maintenance of the currency counting machines. Record cash/chip drop. Assist with all Count Room Department activities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED with money‑handling skills or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, proofreading) and ability to interact effectively at all levels. Excellent organization, multi‑tasking, and detail‑oriented. Ability to meet critical time deadlines. Comfortable conducting mathematical transactions accurately and efficiently. Ability to lift or push up to 100 lbs, stand and/or walk for an eight‑hour shift, bend and kneel. Familiar with computer systems and a 10‑key adding machine. Ability to work in a collaborating, structured, organized, and highly regulated environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT Regularly stand, walk, and demonstrate high mobility for the majority of the shift. Speak and listen to internal and external customer directions or orders in varying background noise. Transit across surfaces that may alternate between carpeted and hard surfaces; walk through slippery surfaces and/or sloping floors or stairs. Use hands to finger, handle or feel small objects and reach overhead or side to side. Require close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception. Will often transit between brightly lit and dimly lit areas, including flashing lights and computer or TV screens. Bending, lifting, carrying supplies and equipment up to 20 lbs; using, pushing and pulling wheeled hand‑carts or other equipment weighing in excess of 100 lbs. Bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting at the waist regularly. May occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids, pets or service animals, strong odors, tobacco, and second‑hand smoke. May occasionally use de‑escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict; assist in customer evacuation in case of emergency.
