Staffing Information: Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs

Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs

Patient Ratios: 1:5, can flex to 6

Type of Equipment: Telemetry

EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile: Skills Most Recruited For: Must Have: 1 Year Med Surg Experience

Preferred: Ortho and/or Trauma Patient Experience

Typical Procedures/ Common Diagnoses on Unit: Polytrauma patients, Non-surgical cervical fractures cleared by spine, ortho and trauma with downgraded TBI, no more than 3 drains, burn downgrades. Heparin and Protonix drips.

Best Personality Fit: Team player

Floating Areas: All Med Surg Units

Dress Code: Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Be on the unit by 0645 or 1845 for Huddle, tardy by Hospital Policy by 0653 or 1853.

Weekend Commitment: 4 weekends required.
