Registered Nurse Behavioral Health FT Day
Sarasota Memorial Hospital
Job Summary Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Department Behavioral Health IP Required Qualifications Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045). Preferred Qualifications Certification in nursing specialty area. Education BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Required Licenses And Certificates BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License Preferred Licenses And Certificates ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support RNBCPSY: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Employment Screening Requirements As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. #J-18808-Ljbffr
