Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

As a Co-Occurring Disorders Counselor ( Internal Title: ITCD Specialist), you’ll be part of a collaborative team that focuses on treating the whole person—addressing both behavioral health and substance use through a unified, trauma-informed approach. You’ll provide individualized support, education, and counseling to help clients move toward lasting recovery and wellness.

About the ITCD Program:
The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) program provides specialized, person-centered care for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. Through a holistic, team-based approach, the program focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms—by integrating behavioral health and addiction services into a unified treatment plan.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a heart for recovery work, strong clinical skills, and a desire to serve individuals in rural communities with complex needs. If you’re passionate about integrated care and want to be part of a strengths-based, mission-driven program, this role is a strong match.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver co-occurring treatment services through individual and group counseling
  • Support clients through CPRC community-based services and outreach efforts
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and stage-of-change evaluations
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on treatment reviews and care plans
  • Provide transportation and collect/process urine drug screens as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing clinical supervision

  • A valid driver's license and agency-established minimum automobile coverage required

PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Missouri OR Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) with Missouri Substance Use Credential

You’ll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You:

  • Are passionate about integrated care and supporting clients through both mental health and substance use recovery
