Salon Manager in Training

Thrive Hair Bar DC is looking for its next Manager in Training ! About the Manager In Training Role: Join Thrive Hair Bar as our Manager in Training. This full-time role is perfect for a licensed stylist who finds fulfillment in inspiring and developing others, loves going above and beyond to ensure exceptional guest experiences, who sees each individual team member as a part of the big picture when it comes to brand integrity, and someone who sees the activities of a hair salon as a hospitality experience rather than a service-based interaction. What You'll Do & Learn as a Manager in Training at Thrive Hair Bar: Provide styling services for at least one, 8-hour shift per week Represent Thrive Hair Bar at festivals, recruiting, and other public events Interview potential stylist candidates and track notes to share with leadership Assist during stylist trainings and provide guidance to newer team members Help schedule client appointments to maximize salon revenue, guest experiences, and stylist efficiency Help coordinate continuing education workshops with internal and external educators Foster a supportive, fun, and empowering salon culture About Development & Room for Growth One of Thrive Hair Bar’s 5 core values is for all team members to be “committed to growth”. At Thrive Hair Bar, managers in training are developed by leadership through structured weekly training. The goal with this training is that the managers in trainings will grow into THB Salon Managers/Business Operations Office Managers. We encourage those who want to help people achieve their goals, have a positive demeanor, work well with digital technology, stay calm even in stressful situtations, want to help develop exceptional guest experiences, and who understand the value of teamwork to apply for this role. No management experience is necessary. Estimated Annual Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 including hourly pay, styling commissions, and tips. Manager in Training Hourly Rate: $22/hour Weekly Schedule: Approximately 32 hours per week, divided between:

• Manager-in-Training: 20–24 hours per week earning hourly compensation
• Styling Shifts: 8–12 hours per week, earning commissions and tips.
