Zoomin Groomin Greenville is hiring a Groomer-in-Training to work alongside one of our most experienced groomers. This role is ideal for someone who has some bathing & grooming experience but is not yet ready to independently complete full-service grooms.

You will assist with the physical and day-to-day demands of grooming while receiving hands-on training from a talented groomer who has a passion for teaching.

This is not a high-volume salon environment. Our service is built around one-on-one luxury care, where each pet receives more personal attention and a grooming team focused on quality, safety, and comfort.

You will work directly with one pet family at a time in a premium mobile grooming spa while learning in a real-world environment.

Support that lets you focus on learning:

• Scheduling support: Our scheduling team manages client appointments and routes.

• Van and maintenance support: Our maintenance team manages van maintenance and mechanical issues.

• Local leadership support: Our operations managers are available to provide day-to-day support.

• Dedicated mentorship: You will work closely with an experienced groomer who will teach, coach, and provide regular feedback.

What you will do:

• Perform pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail care, and coat preparation.

• Assist the lead groomer throughout each appointment.

• Learn haircutting, styling, and finishing techniques under supervision.

• Keep the van clean, organized, and properly sanitized.

• Prepare tools and supplies for each appointment.

• Communicate professionally with pet parents.

• Help the grooming team stay safe, organized, and on schedule.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working professionally with dogs or cats.

• Entry-level grooming experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.

• Patience, attention to detail, and respect for animal safety.

• Positive mindset and ability to work closely with another groomer.

• Genuine interest in developing a long-term grooming career.
