Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2 years of experience and a SD or compact RN license.

Details

• position within a 42-bed Post Acute Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• Patient population includes LTC, memory care, dementia, and orthopedic diagnoses with no current behavioral risks
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse during nights
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system
• Evening and night shifts available in 8-hour or 12-hour formats, primarily 6p-6:30a
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCC EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long term care/skilled nursing environment
• Location-specific building orientation covering safety and lift equipment, approximately 2-4 hours
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local
