Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience, pre-op experience with pediatrics and adults
License: RN License
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Epic experience, Ability to prepare 8-10 patients per shift in a fast-paced environment
Description: Staggered start times for pre-op may vary from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Thursday shifts starting at 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Phase II shifts run from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Thursdays. No weekend requirement. No holiday requirement. No float requirement. No on-call requirement. The unit handles a wide range of surgical procedures. Surgery types include plastics, ortho, GYN, neurosurgery/spine, urology, ENT, vascular, bariatric, colorectal, and breast. Experience with both pediatric and adult patients is essential.
