Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Labor and Delivery unit. Responsible for supporting maternal and neonatal health in a fast-paced clinical environment with various shift options.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with C-sections and manage pre/post-operative care in the designated OR.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including nights and weekends, and work scheduled holidays.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Possess BLS, NRP, and FHM – A1 Intermediate certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to work 1:1 in L&D and 1:3 max in postpartum units.
• Exhibit competency in monitoring patients via central telemetry, including ICU-level telemetry when required.
• Show flexibility with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
