Store Manager

We’re hiring a Store Manager for The Wine Outlet in Vienna, Virginia . This is a great fit for someone who enjoys leading teams, building customer relationships and creating a welcoming retail experience in a neighborhood-focused wine and specialty food shop. What You’ll Do Lead, schedule and develop the store team Oversee daily store operations including opening, closing and merchandising Manage inventory, stock levels and loss prevention procedures Deliver exceptional customer service and product recommendations Build strong relationships with regular customers and local vendors Drive sales and support store performance goals Maintain compliance with alcohol sales regulations and safety standards Support employee training and team development Ensure the store remains clean, organized and inviting What We’re Looking For 3–7 years of retail, hospitality or restaurant leadership experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working with POS and inventory systems Wine knowledge is a plus, but not required Hands‑on leadership style with strong team‑building abilities Availability for weekends and peak business days Must be 21 years or older Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout shifts Eligible to work in the U.S. Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive salary ranging from $60,000–$90,000 Unlimited Paid Time Off Health insurance plans Employee discounts on wine and specialty products Career development and product training opportunities Work in a community‑focused, locally owned business About the Workplace The Wine Outlet is a locally owned wine and specialty food retailer serving Northern Virginia communities through personalized service, curated selections and strong customer relationships.
