Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologistis responsible forperforming a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. The Ultrasound Technologistis responsible forday-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You willbe responsible forperforming a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.?

• You willbe responsible forday-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• You willdemonstratethe ability to perform surgery and portable exams.

• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scansdocumentand verify images in PACS.?

• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.

• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patients history, including lab values.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
