Registered Nurse - SCU/IMC

Location: Damariscotta, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in SCU/IMC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating strong skills in handling vasoactive drips and ventilators. You will work in a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork and proactive patient management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer vasoactive drips and manage ventilators for patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Occasional floating to Medical Surgical Unit as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care or specialty setting.
• Experience with SCU, IMC, and/or ICU preferred.
