Overview Title: Genetic Counselor (Neurodevelopmental Genetics) – Specific Title Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Medical & Molecular Genetics Appointment Type: Clinical Track Faculty Department: IUSM - Medical & Molecular Genetics Campus: IU School of Medicine, Indianapolis The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants at the assistant, associate, or professor level with expertise in genetic counseling and neurodevelopmental genetics. The department provides comprehensive services for children and adults with genetic conditions and collaborates within multi-disciplinary teams. This position includes clinical care, academic responsibilities, and education. The applicant must be board certified in genetic counseling and eligible for licensure in the State of Indiana. A minimum of 5 years of experience in genetic counseling and experience in neurodevelopmental genetics are required. A publication and funding track record is preferred. Responsibilities Provide genetic counseling clinical care in the area of neurodevelopmental genetics with multidisciplinary teams. Engage in academic activities and education related to medical and molecular genetics. Qualifications Board certification in genetic counseling and eligibility for licensure in Indiana. At least 5 years of experience in genetic counseling, with experience in neurodevelopmental genetics. A publication and funding track record is preferred. Doctorate or terminal degree required.
