Join The Team That Lives It Every Day.Nammo Energetics (NEI) is the division of Nammo Group responsible for the establishment of a solid rocket motor manufacturing facility located in Perry, Florida adjacent to the existing Nammo Perry Inc facility. NEI will oversee the design, construction, qualification, and personnel staffing for the facility which targets initial production in 2027.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our growing team. This person will play a pivotal role in partnering with our Norway facility to plan and design manufacturing processes and production workflows for our new solid rock motor facility. The Process Engineer will work closely with design, safety, quality, and maintenance engineering groups to ensure efficiency and quality at each stage of production.This position is on-site at the Nammo Energetics Office in Downtown, Perry, Florida and requires frequent travel to Raufoss, Norway for one – three week time periods within the first 12-18 months.Unique Benefits Designed with Care:Monday - Thursday work week working 10-hour daysRelocation assistance provided401(K) with a 6% company match100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan OptionEmployer Health Saving Account ContributionsGenerous PTO + nine paid holidays annuallyWhat You'll Do: Precision in Action:Plan and designs manufacturing processes and production workflowPrepares plans, process specifications and proceduresWorks with tooling engineer to implement assembly fixtures, tooling and equipmentPrepares labor estimates and tooling/equipment estimates for proposalsConducts test and/or analyzes new manufacturing methods, materials, processes or standardsCompiles and evaluates test and production data and provides recommendations for process improvementsConceives and plans projects involving major production activities, exploration of product and/or process problemsCoordinates technical matters relating to assembly drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework and manufacturing specificationsEvaluates and defines efforts to eliminate defects and reduce costsPerforms Design for Manufacture/Design for Assembly (DFM/DFA) studies in coordination with Project EngineeringWrite work instructions that are complete and accurateParticipate in design reviews to ensure contract requirements are incorporated and can be verified through design, qualification, inspection, software or testSupports production activitiesWhat Dedicated Teammates Bring:Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio.Ability to maintain attention to detail under stress, and the ability to understand and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingOur Working Conditions and Requirements:Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace PolicyMust have good vision (may be corrected)Must be able to communicate written and verballyMust be able to travel.Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time, and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be willing and able to work outside of the standard work schedule, including nights and weekends.Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Requires U.S. Citizenship).Must be able to obtain BATF approval to work with our products.Our values are the fundamental principles guiding the way we do business and interact with stakeholders.DEDICATION: We are enthusiastic and creative, always searching for the best solutions.
