Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts with On-Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Assist with deliveries and support clinical team in a lower-volume birth setting
• Fulfill on-call obligations as required per unit scheduling needs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting
• Comfort working in a lower-volume, community-based birth environment
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
