Liz Portee State Farm is seeking an experienced Production Manager (Agency Leader + Producer) to run our office day-to-day, manage the team, and actively produce insurance business. This role is a true leadership position—you lead, you coach, and you help drive sales.You'll be the go-to person for the team: the one they report to, bring questions and problems to, and are held accountable by. You'll work closely with the agency owner on goals and direction while also being a visible, active producer in the market.You'll thrive here if you:Have real experience leading and managing a team (not just individually producing)Can sell insurance confidently while also coaching others to do the sameAre comfortable holding people accountable, giving feedback, and having tough conversationsCommunicate clearly and professionally—especially when clients or team members need help quicklyAre highly organized and able to keep multiple priorities running smoothly at onceWant to lead the office with day-to-day ownership, not just manage from afarWhat You'll Do:Manage and supervise agency staff (coaching, performance, scheduling, and day-to-day accountability)Lead daily operations to ensure the office runs smoothly and consistentlyHandle day-to-day escalations, resolve issues, and remove obstacles for the teamTrack team performance metrics and flag opportunities/risks to the agency ownerEnsure the team follows agency processes, policies, and compliance standardsBuild a positive, high-performing culture that improves retention and moraleProducer Responsibilities (Sales + Client Service)Actively sell insurance as a producer—new business, renewals, and retention supportWork with the team to improve quoting, appointment setting, conversion, and follow-upMaintain a strong client experience through responsive communication and proper policy servicingSupport the agency's sales strategy by driving results in your own book of business while coaching others to performTeam Coaching + PerformanceCoach the team to improve sales, service execution, and professionalismIdentify training opportunities and help develop producers and support staffSet clear expectations and support the team in meeting measurable goalsWhat You'll Need:Proven leadership or supervisory experience (managing people, not just producing)Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentInsurance or client-facing experience preferredProperty & Casualty and Life & Health Producer licenses (must have or be willing to obtain immediately)Great Backgrounds For This Role: Military, banking, call centers, financial services, insurance, sales leadership, healthcare administration, hospitality/retail leadership, teaching, mortgage lending—especially anyone who has run a team, led an office, or managed day-to-day performance.What We Offer:Salary/commission structureMonthly health stipendPaid time off (including holidays)A leadership role with real day-to-day impact—and the opportunity to produce while you leadCompensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearWe're Hiring!We are an established, growth-oriented agency with a team of highly motivated individuals.
