Schedule & Coverage

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• Flexibility: Schedule is flexible

• Coverage: Daytime hospitalist coverage will also be available.

• Call Requirements: Hospitalists cover all nighttime and weekend call.

• Patient Type: Assigned patients

Job Details

• Practice Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation

• Average Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 16-20 patients

• Patients per Shift: Approximately 20-25

• Department Size: 49 beds

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital Certification: Stroke certified

Support Staff

• 6-8 registered nurses (RNs)

• 1 physician assistant or nurse practitioner (PA/NP)

• Daytime hospitalist coverage

Requirements

• Board Certification: Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)

• License: Active Texas medical license required

• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
