2nd Shift Machinist / Machine Operator Location: Shelton, CT Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (10-hour shifts) Assignment Type: Temporary Job Overview We are seeking dependable and motivated 2nd Shift Machinists/Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Shelton, CT. This is a temporary assignment ideal for individuals with previous machine operation or manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work while meeting production goals. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to company procedures. Load and unload materials and parts into machines. Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed. Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. Read and follow work instructions and production specifications. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous machine operator, machinist, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
