If you take pride in creating a comfortable and safe environment for guests, we want to hear from you!Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, fixtures, property, and structures.Essential Job FunctionsRespond to maintenance work orders by guests, employees, and supervisorsMaintain, repair, and overhaul equipment and property. Report problems to General ManagerPaint walls, ceilings, fixtures, building, and equipment to prevent corrosionHang wall fixtures, replace light bulbs and filters, and shampoo carpetsMake local deliveries and pick-upsWalk the property—interior and exterior, every morning and eveningMaintain parking lot, pool, and grounds area according to established quality standardsConduct preventative maintenance according to preventative maintenance log scheduleWork in accordance with General Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager to set up and complete special and on-going projects and maintains a preventative maintenance programConduct daily inspections of hotel and determine maintenance needsMaintain all sidewalks and keep them clean and clear of debris and/or snow and iceResponsible for following key control policies, practices, and proceduresKeep current on all information pertaining to any equipment or machinery on propertyCompliance with OSHA standards to provide a safe work environmentOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
