About This Role
Location: Decatur County
Position OverviewWe are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Infant Childcare Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for infants.
The ideal candidate understands the unique needs of infants and is committed to providing attentive care while supporting their early development.
What You'll Do Responsibilities- Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- Follow feeding, diapering, nap, and daily care routines
- Closely monitor infants' health, safety, behavior, and development
- Provide age-appropriate activities that encourage early learning and development
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians about their child's daily activities and needs
- Maintain accurate daily records and classroom documentation
- Follow childcare center policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable licensing requirements
- Work collaboratively with other childcare staff
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous infant childcare teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
