About This Role
Location: Decatur County
Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Infant Childcare Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for infants.
The ideal candidate understands the unique needs of infants and is committed to providing attentive care while supporting their early development.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants throughout the day
Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
Follow feeding, diapering, nap, and daily care routines
Closely monitor infants' health, safety, behavior, and development
Provide age-appropriate activities that encourage early learning and development
Communicate professionally with parents and guardians about their child's daily activities and needs
Maintain accurate daily records and classroom documentation
Follow childcare center policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable licensing requirements
Work collaboratively with other childcare staff
Requirements
Qualifications
CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Previous infant childcare teaching experience preferred.
Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
Must successfully complete all required background checks.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
