Junior Brand Designer

Location: Summit, NJ, hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsite Type: Ongoing contract opportunity Compensation Range: $35-$40/hr W2 We are looking for a Junior Brand Designer to join our in-house agency team's Skin Health Brands team. You will partner with senior designers to transform strategic briefs into compelling visual identities, packaging concepts, and innovation projects that influence business decisions. Key Responsibilities Concept & Visual Exploration: Translate briefs into packaging concepts, mockups, and visual explorations for innovation projects and pitches. Design Craft Excellence: Demonstrate a strong eye for typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy to maintain high standards for brand expression. Cultural Relevance: Bring an emerging consumer lens to design opportunities by monitoring trends across beauty, wellness, fashion, and culture. Collaboration & Iteration: Partner with Design Directors and marketing teams to incorporate feedback and iterate quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Cross-Brand Support: Provide flexible, day‑to‑day design support across the Skin Health portfolio, executing tasks such as visual audit research and simple design updates. Team Integration & Mentorship: Provide collaborative cross‑brand support to the Skin Health group benefiting from close mentorship and guidance from senior design staff to upskill and learn the ecosystem. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in graphic, brand, or packaging design with a strong portfolio. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Exceptional typography, font management, layout, and presentation mockup skills. Experience in beauty/wellness is a plus; a portfolio demonstrating core design craft and potential is most important. Passion for design excellence, innovation, and elevating brand experiences. Location & Schedule: Must be available to work on‑site in Summit, NJ 1-2 days per week to collaborate with the team.
