Pharmacy Intake Specialist

responsibilities:

• Perform initial triaging and data entry of all patient applications into the CRM system.
• Manage high-volume administrative tasks including sorting, distributing, printing, and faxing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Tag and associate application images, including patient demographics, physician data, and insurance information.
• Conduct initial assessments for missing information and identify appropriate workflows based on established business rules.
• Maintain independent, efficient operations within a small mailroom setting while documenting all cases accurately.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience within an office or administrative setting.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction in a solitary environment.
• Strong attention to detail and physical ability to sit, stand, and carry heavy objects (mail bins).
• No pre-planned time off within the first 90 days of employment.

Preferred:

• Prior experience utilizing CRM software.
• Basic exposure to medical or pharmacy benefit insurance knowledge.
