Corporate Finance Accountant Sr Location: Hartford, CT, US Job Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Hybrid Job Level: Professional Job ID: 13202 Company: HSB Employment Type: Regular Area of Expertise: Finance, Accounting & Controlling Description In this position, you will handle parent company reporting and analysis and core general ledger accounting, reporting and analysis. Support the financial closing process and PeopleSoft processing functions, including preparing and coordinating monthly/quarterly financial results. Prepare and coordinate international standards (SolvencyII) reporting and analysis. Provide support for multiple business units during the month‑end close cycle. Provide support for multiple general ledger initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and initiatives. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience. 5+ years’ experience in financial reporting and consolidations. CPA is a plus Knowledge and Skills Strong analytical skills Experience working both independently and within a team in a deadline‑driven close and reporting environment.
