Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a busy healthcare facility. This assignment involves working in a surgical setting with a focus on patient care, surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires adaptability and strong communication skills to ensure high-quality patient experiences during surgical interventions.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• End Date: 12/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS, a minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care experience, and the ability to circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records, circulating and scrubbing experience, familiarity with procedures such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries.
• Additional Information: The unit is a main operating room with 14 ORs, including hybrid cardiovascular and cystoscopy suites, staffing includes OR RNs, CSTs, and clinical charge RNs. On-call is from 5 PM to 7 PM one day per week, with weekend on-call once every six weeks if a particular specialist is on-call. The environment features standard OR equipment, Stryker video systems, and a focus on patient experience, effective communication, adaptability, and staff expertise.
