Lead Software Engineer - C#/TypeScript

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We expect hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as TypeScript/React or C#/.NET.
• We look for professional experience building high-performance user interfaces using web or native technology stacks.
• We require experience with distributed systems, UX/UI, and web development and services.
• We value demonstrated experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting.
• We expect strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security standards.
• We require proficiency across all aspects of the software development life cycle.
• We expect advanced understanding of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Preferred: in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• Preferred: practical cloud-native experience.

• We design, build, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, using approaches that go beyond routine methods.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational results.
• We apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to strengthen the stability of our software applications and systems.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and fit within our systems and information architecture.
• We develop high-performance, low-latency order management systems and user interfaces to support global trading desks and flows, including Cash, Delta1, and ETF RFQ.
