Mail clerk

Do you enjoy working early hours? Are you able to meet the physical demand of a busy mailroom? We have two Check-In positions available starting at 4:30 AM and another position starting at 5:00 AM, with opportunities to cross-train in other areas. You'll sort and collate mail, handle pre-scans, calculate postage, process incoming mail, and record registered mail. If you're reliable, organized, and ready to learn more, apply today!

Responsibilities

• Sort and collate all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper distribution.
• Perform various tasks for designated mail items.
• Weigh mail to determine and apply the correct postage.
• Maintain a detailed log of all registered mail.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pay close attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous mailroom or office experience is a plus, but not required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 4 hours at one time
