Job Title Operator (Pipe Crew) Pay $25 - $38 hourly *Depending on years of experience and job stability demonstrated on resume* Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and backhoes to support pipe laying operations. Excavate trenches to specified grades and depths for utility lines. Safely dig around existing utilities, following all locates and safety guidelines. Load and place bedding material and backfill, ensuring proper compaction. Assist in aligning and setting pipe when needed, working closely with the pipe crew. Perform daily pre‑operational inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. Communicate with the foreman and crew to ensure workflow remains efficient and safe. Follow all company, OSHA, and site‑specific safety protocols.
