Facilities Lead

The Facilities Lead is responsible for developing and scaling LEAP's physical infrastructure, from manufacturing and propulsion test facilities to launch sites and future production campuses. This role leads facility strategy, capital projects, construction, and ongoing operations, ensuring LEAP has the infrastructure required to manufacture, test, and launch vehicles at scale. This role serves as the company's construction and facilities management leader, overseeing capital improvement projects from planning through occupancy. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Ground Support Equipment Engineering, Test & Launch Engineering, IT, Safety, and Operations, the Facilities Lead ensures infrastructure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in support of operational requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial construction, facility management, or capital project execution and is comfortable managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Description Core Responsibilities Lead siteselection, facility acquisition, lease negotiations, and due diligence. Leadfacilityconstruction, renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement projects across multiple company locations. Create,maintain, and enforce facility standards for LEAP’s facility portfolio Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans. Coordinate architects, engineering consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, landlords, and utility providers. Track project progress,identifyrisks, and implement mitigation plans tomaintainschedule and budget. Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, occupancy, andturnover tooperations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, local building codes, environmental regulations, and aerospace safety requirements. Oversee facility maintenance programs and contractor performance after occupancy. Support government facility requirements including secure spaces, DD254 requirements, and customer inspections when required. What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, ora relatedfield (or equivalent experience). 7–12+ years of experience managing industrial construction projects, manufacturing facilities, or capital improvement programs. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience managing contractors, architects, consultants, and vendors. Strong understanding of commercial and industrial building systems. Excellent project management, budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bonus Points Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial facilities. Experience with tenant improvements and greenfield facility development. Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar). Experience managing multi-site facilities. Compensation Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 The estimated salary range for this role reflects various compensation factors.
