Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital, working night shifts. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required Current BLS and ARRT certification required Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral MR, spin echo imaging, surface coils, T1/T2, and CINE Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required First-time travelers will not be considered for this position License required if applicable 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Responsibilities Hospital-based MRI department serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations, with preferred familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral MR, spin echo imaging, surface coils, T1/T2, and CINE Preferred skills include chest imaging and image post-processing GE and Siemens MRI equipment used Epic EMR Schedule: Thursday 10:30 AM–11:00 PM, Friday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, Saturday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM (3x12-hour night shifts) No call requirement No float requirement Local candidates are accepted Orientation consists of hospital orientation during week one, with classes each day from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; candidates must be fully available and cannot have other commitments during this period The confirmed start date will be communicated the Tuesday prior to the start week; travelers may begin on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start Royal blue scrubs required Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters Consolidation to a centralized office may occur mid-contract, with possible reassignment to other units as needed RTO is not permitted after booking and cannot be arranged onsite; call-offs or additional RTO may result in contract cancellation Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
