We underwrite and issue policies directly, cutting out intermediaries to tailor coverage and price risk more efficiently. Full Stack Software Engineer Salary: $145,000 – $150,000. Location: Dallas, TX, US. Position: Full‑time. Experience: Any, new grads welcome. Visa: U.S. citizen/visa only. About the role Corgi is vertically integrating the entire insurance industry, designing, underwriting, pricing, and issuing insurance directly. As part of a small, fast‑moving engineering team, you will help rebuild core platform systems from MVP to production‑grade, build data ingestion pipelines, work with real‑money flows, ship across multiple products, and design integrations with external platforms. What you’ll work on Rebuilding core platform systems, handling complex state machines and edge cases where mistakes have real financial consequences. Building data ingestion pipelines, parsing messy real‑world formats from third‑party systems and turning them into clean, reliable data. Working with real money flows – ACH payments, billing reconciliation, and Stripe integrations where accuracy is critical. Shipping across multiple products – features often span multiple user types and systems. Designing integrations with external platforms – mapping third‑party APIs and building monitoring to catch issues early. What you won’t deal with Ticket factories – engineers are involved in product decisions, not just execution. Slow shipping – we ship daily and merge ~70 PRs per month. Siloed roles – you’ll work across back‑end, front‑end, and infrastructure. Process for the sake of process – no story points, no unnecessary ceremonies. You should have Strong experience building web applications across the stack. Ability to work across technologies (Go, TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL). Comfort with integration‑heavy systems and external APIs. Experience owning production systems end‑to‑end, including debugging and incident response. Bonus Experience in insurance, fintech, proptech, or other regulated domains. Familiarity with AWS (S3, SQS, ECS) and Docker in production environments.
